Software Engineer Responsibilities: * Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions. * Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are successfully executed, meeting our standards for quality software engineering. * Design and ship high volume of elegant code with foresight to avoid performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability and testability issues. * Identify opportunities within the team for potential leverage and reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services. * Assist in the onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers.
Software Engineer Qualifications: * 6+ years of software engineering experience. * BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field. * Experience with software development frameworks and tools. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Java as main requirement, Python, or C++. * Knowledge of database management and SQL. * Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies. * Experience in the development of Adobe Experience Manager applications. * Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in Java or Scala is preferred. * Working experience of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures is preferred. * Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals is preferred. * Demonstrated understanding of architectural models and technology stack used for developing highly scalable and highly available web applications and systems is preferred. * Understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies is preferred. * Knowledge of coding fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, time/space complexity). * Experience building on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
