NOTICE OF FILING UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR'S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM Create and execute test plans for functional and system testing of SONiC (software for Open Networking in the Cloud) on Nokia Ethernet Switches. Develop and execute automated test cases using Python in Pytest environment. Analyze and write test standards and procedures; maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modifying software; and analyze test results to ensure functionality and recommend corrective action. Support system design so that Quality Assurance is considered throughout the entire lifecycle of the product. Consult with developing engineers to resolve issues and provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and software. Develop test scripts for new, enhanced features and bugs to be added to regular runs and verify regression. Provide input to software Designers and Customer Support teams to debug and resolve system defects. Create and manage hardware test bed in Nokia lab. Assist with Product Management to jointly deliver high quality products and solutions.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Westford, MA may be permitted up to 40%. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: Application of TCP/IP networking testing and troubleshooting; Wireshark and Cisco Packet Tracer; Linux OS; and Testing routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, or RIP), or network management protocols (SNMP).
