Job Summary The Software Verification Engineer will be part of the Software Verification team, responsible for creating and executing test cases. We are seeking a Software Verification Engineer for our Sterling Heights, MI office. EOE (including Disability/Veterans) Requirements Essential Functions: Execute software verification activities, including reviewing requirements for testability, developing test cases, and improving test environments. Develop automated and manual tests, ensuring coverage by tracing tests to requirements. Identify and diagnose software defects, verify software correctness, and report results. Create test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with DoD standards. Support safety and environmental policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by the verification manager. Supervisory Responsibility None Minimum Qualifications Experience with Vector and/or dSpace tools for automated testing. Hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and analyzers. Proficiency in writing test scripts using C, C++, Python, CAPL, and related tools. Knowledge of US DoD ground vehicle requirements. Independent and practical approach. Understanding of Military Standards and regulations. Effective communication skills for technical presentations. Enthusiasm for engaging with overseas colleagues. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance. Education BSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.) Experience 8-10 years in software verification. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Lab Scheduler tools. Experience in multinational, multi-organizational environments. Background Prerequisites Must pass background checks, employment verification, and drug testing. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with physical testing, HIL/SIL, and German language skills.
