As a Solutions Engineer you are the cornerstone to create customer value with our technology. *This position is based in RTP (Research Triangle Park, NC). To be successful, this hire must be willing to regularly commute to customer sites within the patch of assignment.

• A minimum of 8 years of related experience in an SE, SA or related role. • Ability to travel within the area/market mentioned in this job posting on a regular basis (local commuting from residence) • Successfully capture technical and business requirements to create winning proposals in conjunction with your sales, services and support team. • Lead product discussions, demonstrations, and proof of concepts with our customers to help them experience the simplicity and value of NetApp solutions. • Effectively leverage shared technical personnel to drive successful implementation of NetApp solutions, deeper relationships and better understanding of NetApp’s products and services. • Actively develop and maintain expertise on complementary and competitive technologies. • Understand financial and operational requirements to create ROI models that meet the customer’s needs. • Self-directed and proactive in navigating sales campaigns, cultivating customer relationships, and responding to customer needs. Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is 193,800 - 250,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
