Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
5 years of expert-level experience in Splunk Architecture
Proficient in search head and indexer clustering topology
Hands-on experience with shell scripting and Linux/Windows system administration
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and/or Windows scripts
Thorough knowledge of regular expressions
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with vendors and system administrators
Creative problem solver with a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, BladeLogic, and/or AutoSys
Experience working in a secure, multi-data center environment
Familiarity with other monitoring tools
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
Splunk Enterprise Certified Administrator
Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design and implement Splunk solutions to meet business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Splunk with other systems
Monitor and maintain Splunk infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
