Summary The Sr. Application Engineer is responsible for sales and technical interface between Customers and Power Products Business Management. Identifies customer requirements, jointly defines solutions, and communicates these solutions to customer's technical development and management teams, assists customer in all technical discussions, while meeting yearly sales objectives. This position will be required to work cross-functionally with Order Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Management teams to ensure timely delivery of products and long-term customer satisfaction. Duties Aggressively pursues business development opportunities within the semiconductor equipment market to achieve yearly sales goals, increase market share, and maximize profits. Serves as primary technical interface and ensures customer's questions, needs, and requests are promptly addressed. Develops marketing collaterals for the semiconductor equipment market. Develops new customer base, grows relationships, and promotes new and existing products. Responsible for the entire sales process from RFQ, proposal to contract closing. Identifies, develops, and proposes growth strategies (products and/or services) in other markets and regions for potential uses of Analogic technology. Contributes, participates, and organizes customer meetings at trade shows and corporate events. Represents Analogic at relevant tradeshows. Gathers customer requirements, performs competitive analysis, and provides feedback to Engineering and BU management. Education and Experience Technical degree and/or business degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor process power application. Previous direct application and/or design engineering experience with RF generators in semiconductor manufacturing equipment required. Candidate should possess strong strategic skills, be a self-starter, and able to work both independently and within a cross-functional team environment. Proficient in written communications and presentations. Travel Travel is required for this position.
