What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a full stack Senior Software Engineer for Byte Labor & Inventory, our proprietary restaurant technology, to ensure our restaurant managers can manage employee schedules, inventory and the financials of their business. In this role, you will be responsible for building our web-based Restaurant Management Platform and work as part of a delivery team to build software that helps our managers run their restaurants better.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Develop interactive web applications using the framework • Design and implement scalable RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs using .NET Core or • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage service data • Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality • Contribute to sprint planning and grooming of new features • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of web applications • Guide other engineers on engineering best practices and code reviews • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, QA, and SRE teams What You Bring:
• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Minimum years designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications • Experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, and Typescript • Experience developing RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs with C, NodeJS • Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) and Redis or other NoSQL databases • Familiarity with AWS cloud and CI/CD pipelines is a plus • Experience working in Agile teams with a strong delivery mindset • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for clean, maintainable code • Ability to take ownership and thrive in a collaborative team environment as well as work independently on building solutions to complex business challenges • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders and partners across the team and organization.
