Onsite Position This is an exciting career opportunity for a high potential engineer interested in the design and development of sophisticated, high-speed digital electronics for medical applications. Essential Functions Digital electronics design • Perform tasks related to RTL design and coding, simulation, modeling, testbench verification, IP block integration etc. • Assist with components selection based on given requirements. • Read schematics. • 4k Video, High Speed signals (6GHz/s) • Test, debug, and bring-up of prototype circuit boards • Assist in the development oftest protocols and fixtures. • Documents results of testing and failure analysis • Supports EMI/EMC and Safety testing • Provides technical support to other groups as required to bring a product successfully through commercialization, helps maintain existing products and supports vendor technical requirements. • Performs design control functions to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory bodies. • Takes responsibility for Design History Files, writes product specifications, design and test documents as needed. • Conducts technical design reviews as needed. Location: • Andover, MA Education: • BS in Electrical Engineering • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Experience: • 8 years' experience in digital logic design such as FPGA, CPLD, and Gate logic design required • 3-5 years' experience in Hardware Descriptive Languages such as Verilog required. • 3-5 years' experience with CPLD and FPGA development and simulation tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus required • 2-3 years' experience in high-speed digital design, and high-speed signal integrity analysis preferred. • 2-3 years' experience in programming/scripting languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) preferred. • Experience in image processing using FPGA preferred Competencies: • Knowledge of analog circuits, microcontroller hardware and software preferred. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills required. • Good written and oral communication skills required.
