Sr HR Systems Engineer Irvine, CA/ Full-time Your responsibilities The Sr HR Systems Engineer will serve as the subject matter expert for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of all HR systems and related processes for Region North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico). ·Drive the administration, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems ·Ensure the systems meet the unique requirement of the organization, providing expert guidance on best practices ·Modules of oversight may include Recruiting, Talent, Performance, Compensation, Payroll, Employee Portals, etc. ·Manage HRIS projects including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements ·Drive the entire applicable life cycles for the topics being worked on ·Includes discovery phase with business requirements, system review, identified solutions, accepted solution, implementation of solution, user acceptance testing with documented backup, documentation of required guides and manuals, go live, and post go live support ·Ensure data accuracy, system security, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards ·Serve as the liaison between HR and IT to troubleshoot system issues and coordinate technical support ·Perform root cause analyses and rectify identified issues to alleviate redundancies and inefficiencies ·Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, etc. ·Responsible for complex, ad hoc reporting needs ·Responsible for the day-to-day system data integrations and interfaces ·Recommends to the department manager best practices and scalable options for new integrations/interfaces ·Focus on data automation to minimize manual efforts and assist in moving HRIS into the future ·Can include system integration, bots, and other automated processes ·Support and train HR staff on HR system functionalities ·Maintain HR system documentation such as ·User guides ·Standard operation procedures ·Process flows ·Data dictionaries ·Oversee system permissions and role-based access controls for all HR systems ·Analyze workflows and recommend efficiencies and enhancements ·Offer recommendations to department manager regarding overall HR system landscape to stay up to date in trends and best practices ·Assist the department manager in the strategic planning of HR systems and technology for the region ·Performs all other duties as assigned. Your profile ·Bachelor’s degree (Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or an HRIS related field) – Required ·Certification (Human Resources Information Professional (HRIP)) – Preferred ·7-10 Years of Experience (Configuring and supporting HRIS technology systems) – Required ·5-7 Years of Experience (Project management) – Required ·5-7 Years of Experience (Familiarity with system integrations) – Preferred ·5-7 Years of Experience (Experience with multi-country/global organization) – Preferred ·Sound working knowledge of database administration and familiarity with HRIS concepts ·Technical knowledge with expertise in technical language and/or data management systems ·Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment ·Ability to prioritize projects and tasks accordingly based on business needs ·Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team ·Excellent communication skills ·Ability to build trust and cultivate relationships that contribute to long-term professional success and organizational stability ·Excellent problem solving skills ·Ability to quickly identify issues and devise effective solutions ·Ability to handle unexpected challenges efficiently leading to minor issues being resolved before escalating into major disruptions ·Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion ·Ability to provide feedback in a professional, direct, and tactful manner ·Ability to perform independent research and summarize findings to assist with driving company decisions ·Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision ·Strong analytical skills and logic mindedness ·Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ·Prior hands on experience with multiple Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms a plus ·Examples: ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc. ·Prior hands on experience with multiple custom report writing and visualization tools (example: crystal reports and PowerBI) ·Travel Percentage – 10% Your Pay & Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
