JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

Load extraction methods to extract worst loads for analysis. Physical Validation Plan, gauge mapping and test data correlation. New product design validation and continuous product improvement (Field Failure) Fix and provide design recommendations. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports. Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs. Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or related. 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or related.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Must have 5 years of experience with Abaqus, Nastran, Fe Safe, Comfat, Weldsense, Hyperworks and NX.
