Sr. Mechanical Engineer

A Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10-15 years' experience and responsible for providing advanced judgment and analysis techniques for the design, development and technical analysis of various systems to suit individual client needs. This key role is responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff.
Experience with advanced energy/generation systems is required. In this role you will specialize in innovative energy conservation projects, transitioning from carbon-based fuels to cleaner energy sources-pioneering solutions that minimize operational disruption and maximize results. With a deep expertise across energy conservation, clean energy transitions, and sustainable practices, you have the unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future of energy.
This person must also be capable of directing junior engineers and leading the day-to-day activity of a small team working on the project. The professional in this role would also work with and mentor junior staff members and provide technical review of their work as needed.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required Professional Engineer (PE) license required Minimum 10 years' progressive engineering experience required Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practices Experience with advanced energy/generation systems is required Proficient in MS Office software required Understands QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Familiar with and advocates for the company's standards for quality control and compliance Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Active participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred Proven ability to lead a team Salary: $110K - $135K Competitive salary and benefits: medical, dental, vision, life and 401K
