Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (PE) Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Proven experience in consulting engineering with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial projects Strong ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings, as well as standard specifications Proficiency in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software is preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and an approachable, professional demeanor for effective collaboration with team members and clients Key Responsibilities: Prepare complete project deliverables based on approved proposals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to collect and coordinate essential project data Oversee multiple design and construction projects simultaneously, managing competing schedules Conduct quality control (QC) and Professional Engineer (PE) reviews of work produced by other team members Actively engage in QC discussions, providing high-level feedback and conceptual guidance
