Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team! Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network operations staff to ensure timely task execution and team development
Stay up to date on evolving network technologies and automation methods to drive innovation
Oversee change management, incident resolution, and root cause analysis efforts
Collaborate with engineering teams to guide operational processes and review system designs
Conduct research and provide feedback on hardware/software for optimized lifecycle management
Manage disaster recovery plans and act as escalation point for network operations issues
Ensure system compatibility and produce documentation to support technical processes
Utilize monitoring tools for proactive capacity planning and performance reporting
Monitor vendor performance and maintain SLA standards
Support project teams by providing technical direction and ensuring seamless transition of infrastructure into operations Required Qualifications & Experience:
Associates degree in a technology field or equivalent experience
Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications (current or expired)
8+ years of network experience primarily with Cisco environments
4+ years of experience supporting VOIP technologies
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Telecommunications or related technical field
Current Cisco CCNP certification
Experience with BGP, Azure Cloud, Cisco Unified Communications, and data center technologies
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion, Cisco Prime, and Palo Alto firewalls
Advanced scripting knowledge in BASH, Python, or PowerShell
Understanding of premise wiring for voice and data Perks & Benefits:
