Sr or Principal RF Electronic Production Engineer

- Interface with design engineering in coordinating design changes required for sustaining production during the resolution of test yield issues, tolerance, and obsolete component issues
- Evaluate Technical Data Package (TDP) changes from Customer into released documentation for production floor use
- Providing technical support for entire product test process, board level through top-level test, and support floor test technicians in meeting customer production schedules
- Provide technical volume/BOE input on follow-on proposal efforts
- Develop complete working knowledge of any assigned Production product including manufacturing processes, test systems, and technical data package (TDP)
- Lead cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, test capacity, and overall product Quality
- Troubleshooting hardware, test station and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA) and component levels
- Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis
- Implement corrective actions to resolve
- Prepare test failure analysis reports as required for production
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, physics or similar field
- 6-8+ years of experience in High Reliability Military, Aerospace and Defense Electronics manufacturing
- Experience in testing/troubleshooting RF/Microwave, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuits. Experience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentorship
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks
- Proven ability to facilitate difficult conversations and communicate early and concisely with customers, groups, and individuals at all organizational levels
- Experience with production implementation of complex electronic designs
- Experience with schematics, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics
- Electronic products testing experience using the following: Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, high-speed oscilloscopes, Noise Figure analyzers, spectrum analyzers
- Experience with defense electronic quality standards
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as power amplifiers, up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters
- Familiar with FPGA and Programmable Logic design
- Experience with system level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuits
- Experience using Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS Experience using Matlab
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
