Honeywell located in South Bend; IN. has an immediate opening for a Senior Reliability Engineer. This facility is committed to maintenance excellence and mechanical reliability. This position will work to improve fixed equipment reliability by applying Reliability Engineering principles, statistical data analysis and supporting work processes for the South Bend site.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize performance.You Must Have:
• Bachelors degree in engineering plus 4 years hands-on reliability engineering experience in heavy industrial settings. In lieu of a degree, 15 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
We Value:
• Ability to analyze data from equipment history records (SAP, work order system, equipment files, vendor research) as basis for reliability plans preferred
• Extensive experience in Fixed Equipment reliability (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, relief devices, piping systems, and utilities- related fixed equipment such as boilers, cooling towers, hot oil systems, water treatment)
• Self-starter and effective at leading teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Good proficiency in use of Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio or other CAD (Computerized Aided Design) systems
• Strong commitment to safety
• Implementing new techniques and technologies, such as equipment reliability, predictive maintenance, etc. to continuously improve department operationsKey Responsibilities:
• Facilitating investigation of keynote failures associated with fixed equipment and materials of construction
• Bringing in additional materials or other experts as necessary to resolve issues
• Maintaining Design Standards for Fixed Equipment and materials of construction
• Work closely with inside and outside customers to maintain the Production equipment.
• Responding and appropriately assessing issues in the plant including off-hours
• Knowing when, where and how to resolve issues to minimize production downtime and ensure safe and environmentally responsible action is taken
