The ideal candidate will lead the full lifecycle of system and application development, including support and documentation, ensuring robust, scalable solutions. This role also includes participation in a 24x7 support rotation and potential travel for onsite project work. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and test large-scale, distributed software systems. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Serve as technical lead on complex projects, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices. Produce comprehensive software documentation. Requires availability for 24x7 on-call support rotation. Once every 6 weeks Tuesday to Tuesday. Must-Have Skills : 5+ years of experience in Java, with at least a Bachelor's degree, or 1+ year of experience with a Master's degree is required. Experience in multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java and familiarity with mobile development, React Native is a plus. Experience in JDBC, SQL, and Object-Oriented design and design patterns. Amazon software knowledge is a plus.
