Solidus is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer. In this role, you will be joining a talented team of software engineers who are designing and developing a reusable software foundation to build satellite ground system software.

Day in the Life: Design, develop, deploy, and maintain user interface software Work with a team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment

What You Will Learn Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques Software lifecycle practices for defense projects

Required Qualifications & Experience:  US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance Undergo a comprehensive background investigation Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 5 years of relevant software engineering experience Experience with JavaScript and Angular Experience developing user interface software

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: TS/SCI Clearance Experience developing software using Java Experience with microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models
