Sr Strategic Field Applications Engineer

Role Overview As a Senior (Strategic) Field Applications Engineer, you’ll be at the center of innovation, helping customers in the Data Center and AI space achieve groundbreaking performance through advanced power solutions. You’ll work closely with sales and customer service teams to provide both pre- and post-sales technical support —from product selection and definition to installation guidance and troubleshooting. Your work will span electrical, mechanical, and thermal aspects, ensuring every solution meets demanding application requirements.
What You’ll Do
Present and explain technology, power architectures, and product positioning to both technical and business audiences.
Drive business development:
Direct –Engage directly with customers to identify and deliver solutions.
Channel –Partner with distributors and manufacturer’s reps to expand market reach.
Gather and define technical requirements, serving as a liaison between customers and product engineering teams.
Conduct detailed design reviews, including schematic and PCB layout analysis.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email with prompt, expert guidance.
Travel to customer sites (30–50%) for relationship building, design collaboration, and on-site support.
Lead technical seminars, deliver product training, and mentor channel partners.
Support hands-on product evaluations and proof-of-concept testing.
Create application notes and technical documentation that help engineers implement solutions effectively.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
5–7+ years in analog or power supply design, or analog-based applications engineering.
Strong analog design skills with practical electronics technician-level experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly desirable: experience designing or testing voltage regulation (VR) solutions for CPUs, GPUs, or ASICs.
Ability to bridge technical expertise with a customer-focused approach.
