Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer who understands, guides, and executes systems engineering processes for a complex software-intensive program in support of Product Manager Information Warfare Cyber Infrastructure (PdM IWCI).
This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborates with stakeholders and contractors to accomplish technical activities applicable to development and integration of software capabilities.
Participates in the development and implementation of system engineering strategies.
Reviews and assesses developmental contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with government-provided regulations and standards.
Participates in government oversight of contractor engineering activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities within the Software Agile Framework (SAFe).
Generates recommendations to the government regarding system engineering, planning, requirements prioritization, design, and system integration.
Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework.
Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence).
Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topics.
Must be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-time.
Proven experience leading teams and participating in government SETA oversight of vendor teams.
Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.
Clearance
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Experience and Education
Minimum of 8 years of direct experience with system engineering.
5 years of experience with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes.
3 years of experience with software development.
Bachelors Degree; Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience in lieu of degree acceptable
Preferred Requirements
BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
Other Requirements
Ability to travel 25% conus
Ability to work in office/field/lab environments
