Staff Software Engineer, AI/Machine Learning

New Yesterday

As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in AI/ML, you will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions, leveraging large language models (LLMs) such as GPT4.1, Llama, and Gemini. You will architect and spearhead the creation of advanced Agent frameworks, applying Agentic AI principles to enable autonomous decision-making and task execution. With full autonomy, you will shape and implement systems that drive the automation of RFIC design workflows, directly influencing efficiency and accuracy outcomes. This is a leadership role for an expert contributor who thrives on accountability throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to scalable deployment and continuous improvement. You will operate at the forefront of RFIC innovation, powering next-generation technologies such as 5G and beyond. Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for: Backend Development : Architect, implement, and maintain robust APIs and backend systems for seamless LLM integration, utilizing frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI. Take full responsibility for backend database infrastructure, including the design, scaling, and optimization of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
Agent Frameworks : Exercise full ownership over the conception, design, and realization of intelligent, agent-based systems using Agentic AI principles (Langchain, OpenAI Agents, Google ADK). Define and set technical direction, ensuring systems operate autonomously and reliably.
Data Management : Direct all backend software initiatives related to data management, including designing and implementing database infrastructures and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems to optimize LLM performance.
RFIC Design Automation : Oversee, architect, and continuously improve scalable software architectures that automate key stages of RFIC design, such as simulation, data collection, and verification. Champion automation to drive measurable impact on workflow efficiency and design accuracy.
Model Implementation : Serve as the technical authority collaborating across engineering teams to integrate and operationalize advanced AI models (GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, etc), ensuring autonomous data flow and system intelligence.
Research & Documentation: Independently investigate and assess emerging AI/ML technologies and frameworks, proactively identifying opportunities to apply them within the semiconductor industry. Produce clear, actionable documentation to disseminate knowledge and drive adoption across teams.
