Job Description As part of the Payment Product Development organization, you will be responsible for system development, implementation, maintenance, and support of Visa's Clearing and Settlement systems, which facilitate transaction clearing, settlement, and delivery to financial institutions worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across business units, understand requirements, identify improvements, and implement necessary system changes. Essential Functions Own end-to-end technical and engineering aspects of one or more applications. Translate complex requirements into architecture and design. Influence product strategy and contribute to feature development and system architecture. Collaborate with Architecture and Business teams to develop optimal solutions. Promote Agile practices to enhance delivery processes. Lead architecture decisions, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation activities. Advocate for engineering best practices and continuous improvement. Define solutions through components, modules, and algorithms. Develop and implement solutions, refactor for reusability and scalability. Support technical discussions and decision-making regarding technology application. Create design documents, develop code, perform testing, and document solutions. Build consensus and gain buy-in across teams and stakeholders. Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements. Provide rotational on-call support as needed. This role is hybrid; days in the office will be confirmed by your manager. Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years with an Advanced degree, or 8+ years relevant experience without a degree. Preferred Qualifications 6+ years with a Bachelor's degree or 4+ years with an Advanced degree. Strong Java/J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS skills. Experience with Microservices, web services (SOAP, REST), messaging (MQ, Kafka), Git, CI/CD, Linux, databases (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB). Knowledge of cloud integration, Python, Spark, reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI), and payment systems is a plus. Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Additional Information Work hours vary based on department needs. Travel requirement: 5-10%.
