We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our team focused on building the next generation of Unity's monetization suite, supporting systems for online and mobile games, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and machine learning.What you'll be doingDesigning and implementing infrastructure to support high scale and availability for data and machine learning.Collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.Deploying and maintaining applications in production, ensuring scalability and reliability.Participating in code reviews, on-call rotations, and guiding architecture decisions.What we're looking forBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 7+ years of software development experience, or 9+ years of experience without a degree.7+ years of experience with programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.Experience with computer networking protocols.5+ years of experience with cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and managing cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).Experience with data streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible, or Chef.2+ years with streaming/batch processing systems like Kafka, Flink, Beam, and data solutions for online advertising.Life at UnityUnity is the leading platform for creating and growing interactive experiences across multiple platforms.
