To be considered for Staff Systems Engineer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with 10+ years’ relevant technical experience OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 6+ years’ relevant technical experience Self-motivation, critical thinking, and strong analytical skills Demonstrated strong technical written and verbal communication skills. US citizenship with the ability to obtain a government security clearance As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will: Understand Vehicle Architecture, Guidance and Flight Control Components and the associated control laws that govern the architecture Work closely with the Agile Prime Engineering team to correlate GNC/Sensor technology roadmaps with customer roadmaps to chart where future funding opportunities exist Develop and demonstrate Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) algorithms and implementation within avionics systems Work closely with the customer to provide system trade space domain knowledge, systems architecture definition and integration Focus on technology strategy development and implementation Lead, coach, and mentor teammates within an expanding GNC group Work actively with customer Program Management in Statement of Work development and Systems Engineering teams to develop the systems architecture and interface definition for Moog Systems Work with MATLAB/Simulink to understand and exercise system models.
