Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and manage enterprise storage systems to meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements. Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and system security configurations. Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and optimize resource allocation across environments. Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup) to ensure data protection and disaster recovery compliance. Perform system and storage capacity planning, monitoring, and performance optimization. Automate storage, server, and backup tasks using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency. Ensure regular backup verification, restoration testing, and documentation of backup procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT infrastructure, storage, and backup projects on time and within budget. Conduct regular system, storage, and backup security assessments, applying industry best practices to ensure compliance. Manage hybrid storage and backup solutions in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent). Provide advanced technical support for storage, server, and backup-related incidents. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in storage engineering, server administration, and backup solution management. Strong knowledge of enterprise storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, or equivalent). Proficiency with enterprise backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, or equivalent). Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technologies. Expertise in Windows Server and Linux system administration. Advanced scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash). Experience with hybrid cloud storage and backup environments (Azure, AWS). Familiarity with IT security standards, data retention policies, and compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
