Job Summary

We are a growing Chicago firm looking for a  IL Professional Structural Engineer (SE)  to join our team. This person has 1-5 years of experience with structural design experience with steel, concrete, and wood. This role is in the field where our culture is hardworking, honest, and collaborative. Structural Engineer Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.

SE License in the State of Illinois or the Ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment

1-5 years of Structural Engineering experience.

Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude and ability to work well with other professionals and contractors.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, and figures.

Structural Analysis

Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients.

Experience preparing design drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/CADD/REVIT. Structural Engineer Qualifications Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of manufacturing and industrial projects

Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and ensure designs meet all necessary requirements and regulations.

Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or questions.

Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards to continuously improve design processes and deliver high-quality results.

Assist with the preparation of permitting, design, and construction documents
