About the Role We seek a motivated individual passionate about solving customer challenges through GIS solutions. If you have a history of delivering positive client outcomes and are eager to work with a team of geospatial experts, this role is for you. You will collaborate with diverse organizations across industries such as transportation, public safety, government, utilities, insurance, environment, and retail, utilizing the latest Esri technology. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise GIS systems infrastructure. Providing technical leadership to GIS and systems engineering teams. Collaborating to define and architect advanced GIS solutions with ArcGIS Enterprise. Conducting performance testing, tuning, and capacity planning. Performing system health assessments and implementing improvements. Configuring infrastructure components like IIS, load balancers, proxies, and databases. Mentoring junior team members. Maintaining documentation for deployments. About You You should have at least five years of experience as a Systems Engineer focusing on ArcGIS Enterprise and infrastructure management, reporting to the Manager, System and Data Engineering. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, or related field. Extensive experience with ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, including Server, Portal, and Data Store. Proven deployment and optimization of high-availability ArcGIS environments. Experience with capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning. Knowledge of webgisdr configuration and disaster recovery. Understanding infrastructure components like IIS, load balancers, proxies, and databases. Familiarity with Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, Google). Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Esri Technical Certifications are preferred.
