Boulder, Colorado, United States Description As a Systems Quality Engineer, you will drive quality both subjectively and objectively for features that integrate aspects of software, hardware, and customer-centered ecosystem scenarios. Using data and your drive for quality, you'll advocate for fixes and coordinate with engineers across Apple to improve and maintain quality on new and upcoming releases. Responsibilities Research user scenarios and follow up with developing, modifying, and running tests for validation of software-hardware features. Work closely with development teams to identify and understand key features and shipping criteria. Collaborate with team members, global labs, and cross-functional groups to identify risk areas and develop testing around them. Assess subjective vs. objective tests and work with area experts to create automated validation approaches. Report and represent QA concerns in cross-functional meetings and to management. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Field 3 years of Quality Assurance or System Test experience Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of tools like Python, Tableau, Excel, Numbers, or equivalents for data analysis. Experience driving and resolving quality issues with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Coding or scripting experience Familiarity with AR/VR concepts and AI tools Experience with at least 2 complete system product cycles demonstrating QA skills Experience in consumer electronics testing, especially on mobile devices Detail-oriented and organized with strong adherence to standards At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
