Pay Range: $68.00 - $70.00 Per Hour

Job Summary: This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining lab infrastructure for the Kuiper Software Health Automation team, delivering Lab as a Service to enable rapid software development, build, and testing on real hardware. The successful candidate will work closely with software, hardware, and program management teams to create reliable, scalable environments that improve developer productivity and test velocity. This position demands a hands on approach across all phases of design, implementation, deployment, and operations, requiring a strong background in cloud computing and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and operate lab infrastructure supporting continuous integration and hardware in the loop testing.

Develop automation tools and scripts to keep systems highly available and observable

Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on embedded and physical test equipment.

Drive best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.

Design and maintain test fixtures enabling software validation on real hardware.

Must-Have Skills:

Proficiency in scripting and programming with Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.

Strong knowledge of AWS services and AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.

Experience deploying and operating systems in a Linux/Unix environment.

Industry Experience:

Previous experience in lab infrastructure, systems engineering, or hardware/software integration environments is preferable.
