Systems Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience in Huntsville, AL . Salary based on relevant experience and education. Key Responsibilities

Provide support to multiple MBSE projects for the US Air Force and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Use MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for selected systems.

Develop, maintain, and assess system architecture using SysML or similar modeling languages, to provide traceability of system artifacts throughout the system lifecycle.

Create system models using government architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability.

Implement and manage system architectures in a digital engineering environment.

Develop and evaluate systems using standardized measures of performance and effectiveness.

Provide engineering level input to system models under development.

Review and create/update system requirements, specifications and technical documentation using a model centric approach.

Participate in periodic program reviews and technical presentations to Government stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)

Three (3) years' MBSE experience in support of DoD/Joint systems.

Demonstrated ability to execute complex system-of-systems analysis efforts.

Experience with DoD operations, concepts, and technologies and their supporting sensors, effectors, and networks.

Proficient in developing SysML and/or UAF models within Cameo Enterprise Architecture.

Familiarity with managing models in Teamwork Cloud environment.

Good problem-solving skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active DoD Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS SCI

Additional Desired Experience

Familiarity with DOORS requirement management tool and connecting to Cameo models.

Experience with programing languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Java.

Knowledge of DoDAF model development.

Experience with USAF Battle Management systems.
