Systems Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Systems Engineer at GDIT. Successful candidate will have extensive experience engineering efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and developing strategic plans to introduce or improve IaaS best practices. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience. Experience: 8+ years Required skills: Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible. Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure build-out using Amazon Web Services (AWS), such as Auto Scaling, CloudFormation, and shell scripting Demonstrated experience developing highly available systems on Cloud infrastructure utilizing Linux and advanced bash scripts Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery Demonstrated experience supporting and monitoring highly available, production web applications Demonstrated experience working with PKI certificates and X protocols Familiar with Serverless framework (Lambda) Demonstrated experience using task tracking and version control technology such as GitHub or JIRA Demonstrated experience integrating with Sponsor enterprise systems, such as Identity and Access Management, Auditing, Email, and hosted DevOps services Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph Desired skills: Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning capable of writing and deploying SQL and PL/SQL Capable of managing Customer Security Assessment and Authorization process and writing technical security documentation Python development experience Knowledge of visualization tools like (Tableau, Cognos and PowerBI) AWS Developer or DevOps Certification Location : Chantilly, VA, customer site US Citizenship required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays #OpportunityOwned #GDITCareers #WeAreGDIT #JET #GDITEnhanced
