KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for Systems Engineer.  Systems Engineer Contractor About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Systems Engineer to partner our dynamic team and provide hands-on support for our IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be completing projects for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our systems to ensure their reliability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects and deliver robust and scalable solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of modern IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and advanced M365 administration. You must work PST time zone to support the North American Region. Key Project Responsibilities: System Implementation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and services.Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Build and improve Azure cloud infrastructure including provisioning, scaling, and security.Implement and troubleshoot backup and disaster recovery solutions. Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.Troubleshoot M365 issues and provide technical support to users.Implement and troubleshoot M365 Intune. Security & Compliance: Remediate findings from security audits and vulnerability assessments with our security team. Collaboration & Support: Create and update systems documentation.Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Required skills and qualifications Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or a similar role. Strong understanding of Windows server and desktop operating systems. Experience with operating Azure cloud infrastructure Proven experience with advanced M365 administration. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in technology or computer science Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert). Experience with VMWare virtualization technologies PowerShell coding experience managing Active Directory and M365 Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, ELK stack).
