Your role at MOBE
This Systems Engineer position will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining MOBE's Compute and Network Infrastructure. This is an experienced level position that requires a Jack-of-all-Trades level of skillsets with a strong drive to learn more.
Responsibilities
Implement and troubleshoot IT infrastructure to include servers, applications, networking, and security components within our AWS infrastructure.
Build and support integrations between all internal and external MOBE systems and third-party applications. Including, but not limited to Okta, Tableau, DBT Cloud, Gitlab, Data Dog, SumoLogic and Notion.
Assist Technology Operations with the day-to-day management of IT Infrastructure, applications, and 3rd party vendors.
Contribute to team effectiveness by completing assigned projects on time.
Comply with project plans and software development lifecycle standards.
Maintain applications and systems documentation used in design, development, testing, and support activities.
Diagnose root causes of service issues and drive resolution of issues that may potentially involve third party vendors.
Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
Perform special projects as defined by department leaders.
All other duties as assigned.
Work through assigned tickets and drive them to resolution in a timely manner.

Position Requirements Qualifications
Required
Relevant bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of Systems Support experience in complex technical environments
Ability to effectively manage Linux/UNIX and Windows systems without major oversight
Strong Understanding of application architecture, system architecture, and network architecture
Understanding and experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, tools, and processes
Proficiency in a common scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Experience integrating and configuring Software as a Service offerings
Proven ability to analyze issues and taking necessary steps to reach resolution
Understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or AWS Redshift
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users and management
Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications
Attention to detail and quality
Preferred
Advanced understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience with AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker, or other AI Infrastructure/platforms
Experience with Kubernetes, preferably with AWS EKS
Experience with container image lifecycle management
Experience with Infrastructure as code
Experience with CI/CD practices
Experience in a fast-paced environment delivering results on multiple concurrent projects

The salary range for this position is: $90,000-105,000 based on experience and qualifications.
