A Global Government Contracting Company is looking for a dynamic Systems Engineer to join the team in Sunnyvale, California.
Must have current Sec+
Systems Engineer
Developing and deploying solutions to maintain smooth operation of virtualized computer system environments.
Lead technical development projects and hardware refresh efforts.
Providing overall on-site maintenance and support of the Unix and Windows systems
Serving as the primary point of contact for issue resolution
Performing Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery, Hardware/System Monitoring, and System Maintenance
Creating and maintaining user, administrator, and service accounts
Fine tuning system performance, maintaining system documentation, installing system wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
(E4): 2-4 years of experience, or a Master s degree in a related discipline with 0-2 years of experience.
(E3): 5-8 years of experience with a bachelor s degree, or a master s degree in a related discipline with 3-6 years of experience
(E2): 9-13 years of experience with a bachelor s degree, or a master s degree in a related discipline with 7-11 years of experience.
(E1): 14+ years of experience with a bachelor s degree, or a master s degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of experience.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge/experience in Windows, Linux, RHEL, AIX, Solaris, or equivalent
- System troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team in a dynamic environment
-Bachelors degree is desired but not required. Can exchange minimum 4 years experience in lieu of degree
