Overview
GBSI is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Test Engineer in Landover, MD to provide support in integrating, testing, and evaluating and transitioning enterprise IT systems. The Test Engineer will attend and support formal Technical Reviews, such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
Responsibilities Upon completion of integration activities, creates a test plan/ test procedure to support system acceptance testing; Conducts system acceptance testing in accordance with approved test plan and test procedure; After completion of system acceptance testing, provides a test inspection report; Participates in after-actions review to address lessons learned and areas of opportunity, as appropriate; Provides recommendations/inputs to final system design documents, as appropriate. Qualifications LEVEL II : Bachelor's degree in a related field, with two (2) to five (5) years’ experience is required; OR Masters degree in a related field with zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience years of experience; OR eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in lieu of degree; LEVEL III : Bachelor's degree in a related field, with five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience is required; OR Masters degree in a related field with three (3) to five (5) years’ experience years of experience; OR PhD with zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience; A DoD-issued Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required at start; A current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III (i.e., CISSP GCIH,or GCIA) certification is required at start; Proven experience testing IT systems, encompassing hardware, applications, and network components is required; ITILv4 Foundations certification is desired.
