Test Engineer Job Description
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments in support of development of a liquid delivery system. The execution of the experiments setting up, initiating, and monitoring the experiment, managing data, data analysis, developing conclusions and presenting results. Also required is maintenance and enhancement of test equipment and the test environment, and executing tasks to support validity and traceability of the resulting data. This role requires independent thinking and collaborative working within a small team.
Testing Engineer Responsibilities & Duties
· Design and execute test plans and test cases.
· Collaborate with development teams to understand technical requirements.
· Automate repetitive testing tasks using scripts and testing tools.
· Analyze test results and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
· Maintain and update testing documentation.
· Participate in identification of follow-on tests and their design.
· Develop and implement schedule of routine tasks to support high integrity testing.
· Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies.
· Monitor and maintain the testing environment.
· Participate in continuous improvement processes.
Testing Engineer Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field.
· Facile and experienced with MSOffice tools.
· Experience with rapid prototyping tools and equipment.
· Experience with metrology equipment and methods.
· Experience in programming languages Python, LabVIEW.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Attention to detail and a strong quality orientation.
· Proven experience as a Testing Engineer or in a similar role.
· Familiarity with various testing methodologies.
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving.
