By combining advanced software with complex hardware systems, they’re redefining how energy is stored, managed, and deployed. As they scale their impact across critical industries, they need someone who can take ownership of test and validation at the systems level, ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of the products that power the future. About the Role: They're looking for a hands-on, test & validation engineer to join a fast-moving team building cutting-edge battery technology. This isn't a pure execution role, they're after someone who will take ownership of the test strategy, challenge assumptions, and drive validation efforts that strengthen the entire development lifecycle. What You’ll Be Doing Lead system-level software verification and validation activities. Design and run Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test environments. Contribute to and improve automated test frameworks. Collaborate with development to review, write, and refine test cases. Build test setups in the lab and drive real-world experimentation. Push back (thoughtfully!) on development, be the critical counterpart that ensures robustness Help define and evolve test processes and infrastructure What You Bring 5+ years of experience in embedded software/system validation Strong background in SiL and HiL testing. Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting (Python or similar) Ability to understand complex systems and how software interacts with hardware Experience validating embedded systems in industries like automotive, battery technology or related field. Curiosity and initiative, you want to understand the product deeply, not just run test scripts This Role Is Right for You If...
