Institute control systems to enhance production consistency, quality standards, cost, and schedule adherence in a high mix environment that requires managing multiple projects simultaneously.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ø Engineering ownership of a specific customer baseØ Interpret defense and aerospace technical specificationsØ Evaluate drawings, electrical schematics, and BOMs to assess production viability and offer execution supportØ Reconcile technical issues with internal and external customersØ Provide design and manufacturing related solutionsØ Evaluate and specify materials and processes to meet customer requirements Ø Determine methods, fixtures, and tooling required for new projectsØ Establish and maintain production process instructions that communicate build steps to production personnelØ Validate production times and provide feedback on labor and material estimates Requirements: Qualifications:Ø BSME, BSIE, BSEE or BS in a related fieldØ Minimum five years engineering experience in a production facility Ø Experience with cable and harness manufacturing / design for military and aerospace productsØ Mechanical intuition and print interpretation skillsSkills and Abilities:Ø Experience with government, military, MIL-SPEC, and SAE specificationsØ Familiarity with connector, wire, and cable specifications (both military and commercial)Ø Proficiency evaluating assembly drawings, schematics, and production instructionsØ Ability to research, collect, and interpret technical dataØ Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD environmentØ Strong verbal, written, communication, and presentation skillsØ Strong intrapersonal skills to interact with other departmentsØ Strong managerial skills and self-motivated to work within tight schedule and cost constraintsØ Experience developing and executing multiple projects simultaneously Work environment:Ø Product development lab, manufacturing floor, and office environmentØ Extended periods of time spent on the production floor communicating with technicians, engineers, assemblers, and supervisory personnelØ Extensive use of computer and specialty software programsMust be US Person- Citizen of USA or Permanent Resident.PM19PI7b4a885d0751-30070-38093437
