Regional Wastewater Facility (RWF) San Jose, CA ~ $185,344-232,531 + Benefits The position will be responsible for providing technical leadership on issues related to electrical systems, power distribution, long-term energy management planning, and relay coordination. This role requires a responsible individual with a strong background in design and maintenance, and experience in managing complex electrical design projects. The facility's electrical infrastructure includes primary voltage systems from 115KV to 4160 volts, 4160-volt switchgear, 480-volt switchgear/MCC, 4160-volt generators operating in parallel with emergency generators, and the PG&E utility grid. The engineer will coordinate engineering, construction, and maintenance projects with other engineers, consultants, operations, and maintenance personnel. The WFPE reports to a Chief Plant Operator and collaborates closely with various trades and the maintenance engineering team. The principal engineer will participate in and provide guidance on projects within the current adopted CIP to minimize disruptions to daily operations.
