The successful candidate will take the reins in developing our Water/Wastewater group in the Denver or Loveland, CO, area to new heights. Your leadership will be pivotal in expanding our footprint, delivering high-impact solutions, and shaping the future of our water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include:
Lead, manage, and oversee water and wastewater projects from conception to successful completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, requirements, and technical specifications
Conduct in-depth engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and intricate design work for water and wastewater systems
Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project deliverables to ensure the highest quality
Navigate permitting processes and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations for projects
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential data and provide technical guidance during construction phases
Manage construction activities, meticulously track project documentation, and adeptly address any design modifications or issues that arise
Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continually enhance project outcomes
Qualifications Candidates must have the following:
A bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer(PE) license in Coloradoor the ability to obtain within 6 months
Approximately 10+ years of proven experience in successfully managing water and wastewater engineering projects
Proficiency in industry-standard software for hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management
Strong comprehension of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment processes
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical information
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, multitask effectively, and manage multiple projects concurrently
Additional Information Compensation: The typical salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. Salary depends on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package.RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
