Job Details

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or similar plus:

* 2+ Years of Quality Assurance or Testing Technician experience * Familiarity with testing standards, test protocols, and concrete materials * Strong organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

* Serve as a Test Witness for QA activities at a world-class, sole-of-its-kind North American testing facility * Oversee and verify approval testing for nails and concrete components in accordance with defined standards * Ensure technicians are following correct test procedures for approximately 10 standard tests * Learn, understand, and reference specific testing standards applicable to materials and performance validation * Manage inventory and track incoming concrete slab shipments, including associated concrete cylinders * Occasionally core concrete slabs to extract testing samples when cylinders are not available * Handle 30 lb. concrete samples for sample testing and quality checks * Perform a variety of additional tasks in slower periods, from labeling samples to facility maintenance and organization * Autonomously operate with minimal supervision
