The firm is seeking a Financial Systems Engineer to join the Technology department. This is a job that works with Adderant and particularly DocuDraft regularly.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Assist the firm's Finance Department as the primary engineer supporting the Aderant financial system. Capabilities should include:
- Ability to provide expert-level support across Aderant modules. Proactively take ownership over vaguely defined issues and drive them to resolution (e.g., prebill generation issues, timeout issues, import errors, matter guidelines issues, issues splitting time, etc.). Familiarity working with Aderant support, ideally having the ability to identify subject matter experts in key areas.
- Strong understanding of SQL and Aderant database structure. Ability to leverage this to debug issues.
- Highly proficient in DocuDraft. Creation and maintenance of complex DocuDraft templates.
- Ability to work with Stored Procedures used to feed data to/from Aderant.
- Creation and maintenance of Generic Importer files.
- Creation and maintenance of electronic check load files (ACH, BACS, etc.).
- Familiarity with Design Studio. Ability to customize forms in Expert and Classic.
- Experience working with Aderant APIs is a plus.
- Experience supporting iTimekeep is a plus.
- Experience with the transition to Sierra is a plus.
- Familiarity with multi-payor setups is a plus.
- Provide regular status reports and keep multiple stakeholders abreast of issues/initiatives.
- Work with a variety of IT teams (Development, DBAs, Servers, Storage, Networking, InfoSec, etc.) as needed to resolve issues.
- Install, configure, and support other financial systems (separate from Aderant).
- Create internal and user-facing documentation, as needed.
