Job Description Seeking an experienced Advisor Network Engineer to serve as technical lead and subject matter expert for our Enterprise Network Team, specializing in Cisco wireless platforms, Catalyst Center, ISE, and Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions. Provides the planning, design, acquisition, and implementation of the company's network and voice services. Evaluates business requirements to develop and implement solutions. Conducts project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons. Performs traffic study analysis to determine best configuration of systems. Manages infrastructure related to networks and VoIP systems including related hardware and software to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing network and development and implementation of network enhancements. Lead enterprise-wide Cisco Wi-Fi 6/6E design, deployment, and modernization initiatives Architect high-density wireless solutions for diverse environments (offices, generation facilities, outdoor environments) Oversee wireless site surveys across multiple facilities Manage vendor relationships with wireless survey contractors Design wireless networks supporting 1000+ users with advanced QoS Implement security protocols using Cisco DNA Spaces Manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and cloud solutions Implement network security using Security Group Tag (SGT) Automate deployments with Cisco Catalyst Center Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing networks Design and implement Cisco ACI solutions Manage Cisco Nexus platforms and SDN Develop automation workflows using APIs, Python, and IaC Implement zero-touch provisioning Upholds safety compliance standards and promotes a culture of safety. Demonstrates commitment to ethical business conduct. Job Responsibilities Coordinate troubleshooting for wide-scale problems and serve as point-of-contact for major outages Provide expert troubleshooting for network and VoIP issues Lead complex technical and business issue resolution Design and lead implementation of hardware, software, and environment standards Evaluate and recommend hardware/software for infrastructure Review vendor proposals and make recommendations Design network architectures including WLANs, LANs, VoIP, and WAN connections Install and upgrade network hardware and software Develop and follow procedures for LAN/WAN/VoIP administration Minimum Qualifications Two-year degree or certification in a technology-related field or equivalent experience, plus at least six years of related experience Extensive experience in network engineering, designing, and implementing WLANs, LANs, WANs, and VoIP Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and network protocols Strong customer service and teamwork skills Advanced knowledge of network design, protocols, and Cisco IOS Desired Qualifications Undergraduate degree 10+ years enterprise networking experience Experience with Cisco Wi-Fi 6/6E, Infoblox, Cisco ISE, data center technologies, and network automation Certifications like CCNP / CCIE / CWNE / CWNA Expertise in network security, directory services, and automation Additional Information We offer a competitive salary range of $114,300 - $201,000, with potential bonuses.
