About the Role: We are seeking a talented and innovative AI Agent Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of building intelligent systems that can autonomously reason, make decisions, and execute actions. You will leverage the power of large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and advanced software engineering principles to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated AI agents that solve complex problems and drive business value. Key Responsibilities: Agent Design and Development: Design and build end-to-end AI agent systems and architectures that can perform multi-step reasoning, plan actions, and self-correct. LLM and Generative AI Integration: Utilize and fine-tune large language models and other generative AI techniques to power agentic capabilities, ensuring they are grounded in real-world data and context. Prompt Engineering and Orchestration: Craft and refine advanced prompts and control flows to guide agent behavior and task completion. Implement multi-agent systems where agents can collaborate and delegate tasks. Tool and API Integration: Enable agents to interact with external tools, APIs, and databases to perform real-world actions and access up-to-date information. This includes developing and managing the backend infrastructure that supports these interactions. System Reliability and Scalability: Ensure the robustness, scalability, and observability of deployed agentic systems. Implement MLOps best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and versioning. Research and Experimentation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, especially in the field of agentic AI. Conduct research and experimentation with new frameworks and techniques to push the boundaries of what our agents can achieve. Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract data and conduct comprehensive exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns. Create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards (e.g., Looker, Excel) to communicate key performance indicators and complex insights. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other software engineers to translate business requirements into effective AI agent solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). AI/ML Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI agent systems or other autonomous systems. Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. Expertise in prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs. Knowledge of techniques for grounding generative models with external knowledge sources (e.g., Retrieval-Augmented Generation - RAG, vector databases).
Data Wrangling: Experience with data-centric AI practices, including exploratory data analysis (EDA), data acquisition, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare and validate data for agentic systems and tools. Software Engineering (AI Infused): Solid software engineering fundamentals (system design, testing, Git, etc.). Experience developing and maintaining backend infrastructure for AI/ML pipelines. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven AI-assisted workflow for solution development.
Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience with at least one major agentic framework (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel). Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle novel and complex challenges. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Team Mentorship: Inspire, motivate, and mentor junior team members and conduct constructive code reviews. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with conversational AI and chatbots. Familiarity with LLM-related security concerns, such as prompt injection. Experience deploying AI models at scale in high-throughput, low-latency environments. A portfolio of personal projects demonstrating a passion for building AI agents. About Us Reflex Media is a next-generation high-tech marketing company led by our Founder & CEO, an MIT alumni.  Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, our company operates as a remote organization, and as such, we are seeking to hire the best talent nationwide (as well as worldwide).
