You Have: 5+ years of experience designing, training, and deploying machine learning or deep learning models in production environments

Experience in Python and modern ML frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn

Experience with full-cycle ML engineering, such as data preprocessing, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring

Knowledge of scalable ML systems and tooling, such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Ray, FastAPI, or Airflow

Ability to work in cross-functional teams, lead technical efforts, and drive results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics

Nice If You Have: Experience applying or fine-tuning foundational models or large language models (LLMs) in mission-critical settings

Knowledge of responsible AI principles, model interpretability techniques, and ethical deployment considerations

Knowledge of MLOps best practices and CI/CD for ML workflows

Secret clearance

AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty including, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
