Description This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical skills and excellent collaboration abilities. Responsibilities include:
Developing daemons and frameworks to manage an AI-powered system and facilitate communication between nodes.
Prototyping ideas to enhance determinism in process execution and output, including reproducing and analyzing end-user scenarios.
Developing software components adaptive to system health changes.
Sharing concepts and objectives with cross-functional teams and anticipating project needs.
Participating in architecture and code reviews.
Leading and mentoring other engineers.
Minimum Qualifications Proficient in Swift, C++, or Objective-C.
Attention to detail, creativity, and passion.
Ability to deconstruct large features and implement practical solutions, balancing time and complexity.
Experience working cross-functionally to build partnerships.
Strong knowledge of Apple development tools.
Excellent object-oriented programming and design skills.
Proven software architecture experience.
Solid understanding of OS fundamentals such as memory management, scheduling, synchronization, syscalls, IPC, etc.
BSc in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in multi-threaded software development and debugging.
Skills in system and network troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging.
Experience building efficient systems software.
Experience developing and maintaining APIs and frameworks for multiple clients.
Familiarity with large-scale codebases.
Experience troubleshooting device hardware/software failures.
This role's compensation ranges from $181,100 to $318,400, depending on skills and experience. Apple offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, retirement plans, stock programs, educational reimbursements, and more. Additional bonuses or relocation assistance may be available.
