About The Team Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) handles autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of effects. The AD&S Vehicle Software team develops software for these systems, collaborating across engineering disciplines to create vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry software. We seek engineers eager to build foundational vehicle software supporting initiatives from early simulation to live operations and large-scale fleet management. Required Qualifications Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance Strong engineering background from industry or academia, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc. Experience developing software involving significant data processing and analysis Ability to quickly understand complex systems and codebases Motivation to work on impactful, real-world software Preferred Qualifications Background in Physics, Mathematics, or Motion Planning for modeling & simulation and physical systems Experience with developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real environments Knowledge of behavior trees, feature and algorithm development Experience with flight systems, safety-critical software, distributed networks, and military operational tactics Compensation & Benefits US Salary Range: $138,000—$252,000 USD. Actual salary depends on experience, education, skills, and business factors.
