$120,000 to $147,000 base salary + 20% bonus
Are you a highly skilled Analytics/Data Engineer passionate about building robust data solutions and driving performance at scale? Do you thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy translating complex data requirements into powerful, efficient designs?
Our client is looking for a talented individual to join a world-class Data Science team with a focus on inbound data. If you're experienced with Python, SQL, Apache Spark, data architecture, and modern data tooling, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with data scientists and analysts to design solutions that meet analytical and reporting needs
Build scalable, efficient ETL pipelines and workflows for ingesting, processing, and transforming data
Optimize large-scale data processing with Apache Spark, ensuring performance and quality
Translate source system data structures into scalable enterprise data architecture
Serve as a data architect, aligning technical solutions with strategic business goals
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to guide the design of new data assets
Extract and integrate data via APIs from diverse external systems
Automate and streamline workflows using Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory
About You
5+ years of experience in Analytics or Data Engineering, particularly with large-scale distributed data systems.
Proficiency with Azure Databricks (Storage Accounts, Synapse, Key Vault, Spark Pools, etc.)
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with a focus on maintainability and scalability
Deep knowledge of Apache Spark, data partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning
Solid background in data architecture and communication across business and technical teams
Experience integrating data via APIs and working with cloud data platforms
