Aor-Wide Communications Engineer GovCIO is currently hiring for an AOR-Wide Communications Engineer. This position will be located in Shaw AFB, SC and will be an on-site position. Provide AOR wide engineering support. The contractor shall: Design, produce and implement IT solutions to integrate systems into AFCENT enterprise; Troubleshoot, and optimize theater communications systems; Research current and emergent technologies; Provide analysis on technical specifications, limitations, potential implementation, and recommended courses of action. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) Clearance Required: Secret Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering from an accredited university 10 years' practical experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment; have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understand IP routing and architecture design, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks 6 years' engineering experience in: information technology; IP Network Design and Architecture Development; RF Communication Satellite Communications; Telecommunications; Tech Control; Command & Control (C2) System 5 years' experience in military communication systems Preferred Skills and Experience: TS/SCI Clearance Company Overview: GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT.
