Eatons ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Application Engineer - Entry Level in El Paso, TX. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 . This position is eligible for a variable incentive program. Salary offers are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations. What youll do: The Application Engineer (Custom Order Engineer) is responsible for engineering customer orders, including detailed review of layout and equipment application, wiring and component selection, and order management from reconciliation through engineering and manufacturing information (MI) generation. Reconcile pricing and lead time requests of incoming orders, verify manufacturing capabilities support lead-time requests. Ensure complete and accurate order entry information from field sales and channel partners. Support field sales and partners on post-order issues. Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for simpler switchboard configurations using MI Manager, AutoCAD, and Design Automation. Engage with customers, channel partners, Field-Sales, and EatonCare via plant visits, training, and events. Schedule production orders, reconcile customer requested ship dates with standard lead times and capacity, utilizing MRP and Excel.
Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from an accredited institution. Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future. Reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX, or be an active-duty military member (exempt from geographic limitation).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AutoCAD/Auto CAD Electrical. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Creo. Experience designing power distribution equipment is a plus.
