Position Description:
Seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Power Outlet Design and Release Engineer with experience (5+ years) in the design, development, and testing of consumer charging systems for ICE, EV, and other electric-powered products.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in electrical engineering, embedded systems, and charging infrastructure technologies.
This senior role requires a solid understanding of industry standards (DC-AC systems, High Voltage power outlets systems, and standards around the world), safety regulations, and a focus on providing innovative and reliable charging solutions for consumers.
The successful candidate will offer technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the continuous improvement of our products.
Skills Required: Application Architect - The candidates know about automotive electric system and has worked in the past with it.
PPAP - The candidates identify and can explain what a PPAP process is and the difference between PPAP 0, 1, 2 and 3.
3D Modeling - Knowledge of Catia, SolidWorks, NX and Teamcenter. 3DX is also a good example.
Technical Requirements - Experience with high current power outlets or DC to AC inverters
CATIA - Same as 3D modeling, expertise and experience.
Skills Preferred: Python programming knowledge. Other languages like C++ will be considered
Program Management - experience in any role at program management or ability to identify the PMI handbook.
Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in designing and testing consumer charging systems or related technologies.
Expertise in charging technologies such as AC/DC chargers
Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.).
Experience with industry safety standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 26262, UL, IEC, FuSa).
Proficiency with embedded systems and electrical circuit design.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on consumer-facing solutions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring engineering teams.
Experience Preferred: Formal training or certification in functional safety (ISO 26262) or related safety methodologies.
Experience working with charging infrastructure and vehicle architectures.
Experience mentoring engineering teams and leading technical initiatives.
Familiarity with consumer-focused product design and user experience principles.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
Education Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
Additional Information: Position is Hybrid (In office Monday through Thursday)

Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of charging solutions with electric vehicles and consumer products.
Provide expertise in charging technologies, including AC and DC charging, wireless charging, and fast-charging solutions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and certifications (High Voltage system standards).
Effectively manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality charging solutions.
